CULTURE-DRIVEN PERFORMANCE

Cache Creek ascribes to the belief that a culture of Teamwork, Excellence, Character and Humility are essential to delivering top-tier performance.

The linkage between culture and  long-term operational excellence is inseparable.  The attributes of a strong culture are not only essential to talent recruitment and retention but are one of the single most important factors in achieving  industry leading results.

Changing and articulating culture in a company is hard work. We are willing to do the heavy lifting because we know the return on investment is highly attractive.

CORE VALUES

TEAMWORK

  • Deliver on promises
  • Look out for one another
  • Obligation to contribute

EXCELLENCE

  • Respond promptly and act thoughtfully
  • Do your very best
  • Leave things better than you found it
  • Failure and perseverance are essential ingredients in pursuit of excellence

CHARACTER

  • Do the right thing, even if it isn’t easy
  • Keep your promises
  • Tell the whole truth

HUMILITY

  • Ask questions and listen
  • Willingness to learn, improve
  • Willingness to admit you are wrong
  • Look in the mirror to assign blame, look out the window to assign praise

INTEGRATION

We believe that adhering to a set of core values is the only way to effectively drive behavior and deliver on our promises that is consistent with our desired culture. We integrate these values into every aspects of our organization from making investment decisions to new hires. We work closely with our companies to enhance and often codify their core values as well.

EXAMPLE: the logo shown represents the hierarchy of values in a manufacturing environment. This diagram assists employees on a day to day basis with decisions from the shop floor to the corner office. As an example, safety is paramount and comes before quality, schedule, etc.

A poor Culture, especially one that lacks accountability, is the single biggest impediment to superior performance, outstanding execution and ultimately success.
